All CemeCon coatings are certified non cytotoxic for food and drug contact

A ceramic coating provides a sealed and chemically inert surface, protecting working parts and components from corrosion and wear. This is an excellent way of reducing particle contamination in clean environments, while at the same time reducing wear of components.
Unfortunately, the wide application of coatings is still limited, especially in the medical and food industries, due to regulations and laws.

To enable our customers to use advanced surface treatments, we have had all our coatings certified. Each CCMold, CCForm and CCCom coating has been tested for in vitro toxicity according to ISO 10993-5 and now have Certificates of Compliance with regulations of food and drug contact materials.
